Linda Lois Anderson, 79, of Bartlett, TN and formerly of Hernando, MS died in hospice care on Aug 28, 2026.

She was born Oct 28, 1946 in Hernando, MS, the daughter of the late Hubert and Frances (Norwood) Walker, Jr.

She was a homemaker and executive assistant for FedEx for many years.

More than anything else, she enjoyed working with the American Legion Auxiliary and spending time with her family and friends.

She was pre-deceased by her daughter Trudy Hays, her husband Jerry Anderson, both her parents, her sister Camille Williams and her brother Pat Walker.

She leaves behind her daughter Dana Johnson (Chris) of Bartlett, TN, her grandchildren Kelsey Ramirez (Josh) of Carbondale, IL, Craig Johnson (Lauryn) of Liberty Hill, TX, her older brother Bobby Walker (Vicki) of San Antonio, TX, her younger sister Jackie (Jay) Bowen of Colorado Springs, CO, one great-grandson, Leonidas Flores-Johnson and many nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.

A memorial service will be held at Forest Hill Memorial Park East at 2:00 pm on Sep 2, 2026 with burial to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery-South.

The family would also like to acknowledge the compassionate and excellent care she received from the staff at the Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville.

The family suggests a donation to the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund.
