Linda Wiley Jackson, age 84, passed away on September 8, 2026 in Florence, Alabama in the loving presence of her son. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother Meemaw, as she was affectionately called by her family, was the best game-playing, food-making, grandkid-spoiling lady around.

> Linda was born May 31, 1942 to John and Hazel Wiley in Dyersburg, Tn. She was the oldest of three daughters and had a special relationship with her two sisters, Jean and Brenda. She attended UT Martin and studied to become a school teacher, a calling she carried out for 35 years in the Memphis City School system.
>
> She married Ronald Jackson on April 12, 1964 and they had two sons. Her oldest son, Jayson, gave her her first grandchild, Kristen, who was her whole world. Justin and his wife, Shanon went on to give her three more grandchildren - Jayson, Stephen and Caleb. Years later three great-grandchildren were added to the family - Lucas, Silas and Joanna.

> She loved her family fiercely and lavished her time and affection on them. She will always be remembered for the late night games of Scrabble, 9x9, and Casino, always with cans of cold YooHoo and drumstick ice cream cones as a treat.

> She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Hazel Wiley; her husband, Ronald; her son, Jayson; and her sister, Jean Hizer. She is survived by her sister, Brenda Oliver; son Justin and daughter-in-law, Shanon; her granddaughter Kristen; her grandsons Jayson and his wife, Regan; Stephen and his wife, Emily; Caleb and his wife, Gracie; and her great-grandchildren Lucas, Silas and Joanna.

> She will be greatly missed by those who loved her. We thank God for the time we had with her and are grateful for all the memories we will always have of her. We look forward to the day when we will be reunited with her in Glory.
