After a long illness, Linda Louise Underwood, 76, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Born on January 20, 1950 in Memphis, TN, she worked for over 30 years at Fogelman properties as a payroll manager. Linda was a member of Hickory Valley Baptist Church. Spending time with family, friends, traveling with her husband, loving animals, especially her dog Bear, is what brought joy to her life.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Percell and Louise Lambert, and grandson, Robert Houston (Trey) Robertson, III.

Linda is survived by her husband of 45 years, James Underwood; son, Michael Smith; stepdaughter, Delana Sarten (Chuck); stepdaughter , Karen Robertson (Rob); stepson, Darren Underwood (Melinda); sister, Shirley Benton; nephew, Ken Hines; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
