Lloyd S. "Dugan" Johnson, 84, died May 29, 2012 after a prolonged illness. He was born in Love, MS and loved to sing, paint, and write poetry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel E. and Mamie E. (Palmer) Johnson of Hernando, and two brothers: William E. Johnson of Memphis and J.H. Johnson of Mobile, Alabama. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mildred Pauline (Murphy) Johnson, his two sons, Sid Johnson (Becky) and Russell D. Johnson, all of Memphis; his sister, Annie Lou Ferguson, of Hernando; and his granddaughters, Laurie N. Raffety (Andrew) of Memphis and Sara E. Johnson of Denton, TX. Services will be held at Forest Hill East at 2 p.m. Saturday, with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to The Exchange Club Family Center, 2180 Union Avenue, 38104 (www.exchangeclub.net).
