Lyn Tyner, 81, passed away on May 16, 2019 in Collierville, Tennessee.  She was preceded in death by her father, Reuben Tyner and mother, Lizzie Wood.  Ms. Tyner is survived by her daughter, Denise (Andrew) Douzanis of Memphis; son, Ron Cheek of Germantown, Tennessee; and one brother, Ronnie (Sue) Tyner of Olive Branch, Mississippi.  She had been blessed with four grandchildren:  Blake Carlisle, Andrea (Jay) Fletcher, Steven Carlisle, and Domenica Cheek; also two great grandchildren:  Amelia Fletcher and Corinne Fletcher.  Ms. Tyner loved to read her Bible.  Her favorite interests were animals, birds and gardening.  She loved her family.  Per Ms. Tyner's request, all services are private, for family only.  In lieu of flowers, she had requested that any memorial donations be sent to the ASPCA, or your local animal shelter.
