Lonnie David Moore, age 81of Southaven MS. Born September 19, 1943, passed away at his home Tuesday July 8, 2025, with his family by his side. Lonnie retired from Auto-Chlor after 47 years of dedicated service. Lonnie started working at 18 years old as a route man and held many positions through his career including plant manager. During his time at Auto-Chlor Services, Lonnie received several awards including the Global Service Award and the James Robinson Award. Lonnie enjoyed many hobbies during his life. He enjoyed Elvis Presley's music and country music. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and coaching Terry and Rita in baseball and softball. However, one of Lonnie's biggest enjoyments was watching Sports on TV, especially Ole Miss Football. Lonnie was also a Master Mason at the Horn Lake Lodge #617. Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents William "JT" and Lillian Moore, his Brother William Earl (Jim) Moore and his loving wife Corinne M. Moore. Lonnie is survived by: His children Terry Lynn Moore and Rita Moore Echols (John), His 6 Grandchildren, Stacey Dunn (Gabe), Justin Echols (Katie), Will Moore, Gwin Allen (Dustin), Jacob A. Echols SR. (Ana Katherine), Mallory Gann (Dawson), and 18 Great Grandchildren, Dalton Brown, Abby Dunn, Tori Brown, Kelsey Coffey, Deuce Dunn, Kinsley Echols, Dillon Dunn, Brycen Gainey, Beverly Sue Gann, Charlie Allen, Amelia Moore, Haven Echols, Caroline Allen, Cohen Allen, Allie Moore, Remington Echols, Isla Gann, Jacob A. Echols JR. and 1 Great-Great Grandchild Blakly Brown. Services will Be July 14,2025 at Glenns Chapel Church, 8235 Highway 301, Lake Cormorant MS, 38641 Visitation 12:00-2:00, Funeral service at 2:00 with Grave Side Service at Forest Hill South, 2545 East Holmes Road, Memphis TN 38118.
