Lorea Reeves Turner, 96, of Memphis went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 5, 2013. She is the mother of Betty L. Hale (Don W.) and grandmother of seven grandchildren: Rex Davis (Lisa), Lydel Turner, Dewayne Hale (Trish), Cindy Anderson (Ray) Donna King (Mike) Dana Alsbrook (Lonnie) and Denton Hale (Heather). She also leaves 13 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Jeannie Turner; and one sister, Evangeline Davis (Berlon) of Wynne, AR, and former daughter-in-law, Janie Turner. Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Riley Turner and her son, Jerry Maurice Turner. Service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 10 at Forest Hill South with visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. Burial will be in Forest Hill Midtown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be sent to the charity of the donor''s choice.
