Loreda (Mangum) Morris, 87, of Arlington, TN passed away on Monday, July 15, 2019. Loreda spent her life as a long term caregiver for both her parents, Wiley and Hallie Mangum until their deaths in the late seventies. She devoted her life then to her daughter and granddaughters. She loved to read and spend hours sewing for her grandchildren. Loreda was dearly loved by her family and will be greatly missed. Her life was an example to many. Loreda was preceded in death by her husband Tommy Lee Morris, her sister Eva Keith and brothers Clyde Mangum and Corbin Mangum, and her son-in-law Harvey Leon Hurst. She is survived by her daughter Sharon Hurst; granddaughter Rachel Powers and grandson-in-law Shannon Powers of Medina, TN; her granddaughter Emily Bowen and grandson-in-law Jere Bowen of Goose Creek, SC; and great-granddaughters Caroline Powers and Ella Powers. Visitation will be from 1-2pm on Saturday, July 20, with funeral service following at 2 pm at Forest Hill Funeral Home, 2440 Whitten Road. Burial will be at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Road, following the funeral service.
