Loretta Evon Murphy was born in Tupelo, MS on April 22, 1931 to Thomas Floyd and Jessie Elyn Jones who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Sherry and Louise Jones; and two brothers, Leo and Jimmy Jones. Loretta leaves behind her loving husband of over 45 years, Harold Murphy; brother, Rodney Jones (Betty); sisters-in-law, Ann Jones and Doris Howard; brother-in-law, Albert Jones; nieces, Rhonda, Susan, Deborah, Lisa, Kathy, Sheila and Kereshia; nephews, Keith, Gary Tommy, Bruce, Ted, Chad and Mike. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 12-2 pm with funeral services to immediately follow at 2:00 pm, all at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park East, 2440 Whitten Rd., Memphis, TN 38133.
