Loretta Ward, 98, of Cordova, TN died Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Dove Health Care and Rehab. She was retired from Union Planters National Bank, a 50 year member of Bellevue Baptist Church where she attended the Joy Sunday School Class, worked with the Union Mission and the Women''s Ministry and was a graduate of Delta State where she played basketball. She is survived by her niece, Phyllis Davis (Gary) and nephew, Richard Ward (Carol). Ms. Ward was preceded in death by her brothers, Marvin and Modie Ward. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m., Monday at the funeral home with interment to follow. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the Gideons.
