Loriece J. Morrison, 94, passed away at Memphis Jewish Home on October 16, 2022. Loriece leaves behind a daughter Tina Gliddon, a son Jack L. Morrison Jr., a sister Judy Wood (Roy), grandchildren DeAnn Edwards and Stewart Morrison, 7 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack Morrison Sr, her parents Sidney and Delores James, and brothers Sidney C. and Raymond B. James.

Upon graduating from Whitehaven High School, Loriece became an art teacher for many years. Her love for art was insatiable! She taught many women in the neighborhood and dedicated so much of her time sharing her talents with others. Loriece married Jack L. Morrison Sr. and the two shared many great years together up until his death, from that union they created two lovely children.
