Louis "Christopher" Giannini,of Arlington, TN, passed away on January 25, 2015 after a valiant fight against pancreatic cancer. He was born on September 1, 1947 to the late Louis and Dorothy Giannini of Memphis, TN. He was a US Navy veteran and served in Vietnam. He retired after 42 years as a Conductor with the IC / CN Railroad. Chris always put his family first and enjoyed spending time with kids and grandkids. He was an avid sports fan. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Rita, sons, Jay (Amy) and Jamie Giannini, four grandchildren, Natalie, Hayden, Lucas, and Joshua and four brothers, Joe (Becky), Larry (Gayle), Mark (Susan), Tim (Beth), a sister, Janice (Floyd) Kent and many nephews and nieces. The viewing will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 28 at Forest Hill Funeral Home East. Services will be held at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Bartlett at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 29. Interment will be at Forest Hill East Cemetery. Chris wished in lieu of flowers, donations be made directly to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital or Heaven's Cradle Foundation Fund, West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation at 620 Skyline Drive Jackson, TN 38301 in his honor.
