IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Louis Wylie
Robbins
July 21, 1928 – April 3, 2025
Louis Wylie Robbins, 96, passed away on Thursday, April 03, 2025. He was born in Pontotoc, MS, on July 21, 1928, to the late James and Mary Robbins. After graduating high school Louis joined the United States Air Force where he served his country for 36 years, 4 months, and 22 days. He married the love of his life, Edith, on July 16, 1955, and from that union 2 beautiful daughters were created. Louis was a dedicated husband, father, brother, and loved one to all who knew him. He loved fishing, it was one of his most favorite things to do. He also enjoyed helping anyone in need, especially his neighbors. If anyone needed help or even a good hot meal, he was the one that would always be there to lend a hand. Louis loved to work in his garden, ride his bike, but what he loved most of all, was the great company of his family. Louis was a big jokester; he could always put a smile on anyone's face without even trying to.
Louis is preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 69 years, Edith Robbins, 2 daughters, Melinda Patterson (Lawrence) and Teresa Jennings (B.C), 3 grandchildren, Dusty Long (Caitlin), Ryan Long (Kristen), and Madison Utley (Chris), 4 great grandchildren, Katherine, Callan, Mary El., and Wilder Sage, as well as a brother, Dewey Robbins (Clarice).
He was one of the most appreciative people you would ever meet, and he will forever be in our hearts, and we will miss him more than words can express.
