Louis Ellison Wylie, 80, went to be with the Lord on March 12, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital, Bartlett, TN.  He was born on August 30, 1937 in Brunswick, TN to the late Robert and Sarah Wylie.  He was a graduate of Memphis State University (now the University of Memphis).  He was honorably discharged after serving in the U.S. Navy Reserve.  He retired from Super Valu as an accountant, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Ocala, FL.  He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 59 years, LaNell Wylie.  He was predeceased by his son, Gregory Wylie; a brother, Robert Wylie; and a sister, Monette Goodman.  Visitation will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 Thursday, March 15, 2018, with funeral services to follow at 2:00.  Services are entrusted to Forest Hill Funeral Home, East Chapel, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN, 38133.   Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Brunswick, TN.
