Louise C. Hunt, age 85, of Southaven, MS passed away on Sunday December 29, 2019. She is preceded in death by her Husband William Murray Hunt Sr.  of 68 years, Father and Mother Lawrence C. Calvi and Flora Arnett Calvi and son Steven Lawrence Hunt. She is survived by Son William M. Hunt Jr., Daughter Barbara Hunt Acree, 7 Grandchildren, and 15 Great Grandchildren. Louise was born on February 25, 1934 in Memphis, TN. During her life Louise, or lovingly known as "Mammy". Throughout her life she served as a school teacher for 21 years, a Farmer's Daughter, Youth Director, Choir Leader, Cub Scout Den Mother, and our Ravioli Queen. Her main goal as a History Teacher was to help each student to learn to love and respect America and become an active part of its life. The funeral will take place at the Minor Memorial United Methodist Church 6120 Goodman Rd. Walls, MS on Monday, January 6, 2020. Visitation from 9:00am to 10:00 am, service at 10:00 am. Graveside service to follow at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park - South, located at 2545 E. Holmes Rd. Memphis, TN.. The family asks that donations be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital or flowers are also appreciated.
