It is with great sadness that the family of Louise Koonce announces her passing on Friday, September 29, 2017 at the age of 89 years old. Louise was the widow of the late James M. Koonce after 61 years of marriage. Louise will be lovingly remembered by her children. Russell Koonce, Cindy Wright and Wanda Moore. She leaves 7 grandchildren, Jaime Doss, Jacob Bone, Elizabeth Bone, Christopher Moore, Heather Hansbro, Charlee Hansbro and Lawson Hansbro. She also leaves one brother; Tom (Carrie) Castle and two son-in-law; Bill Moore and David Wright. Louise will forever be remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. A funeral service in memory of Louise will be held Monday, October 2, 2017 at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery - South, 2545 Holmes Rd., Memphis, TN 38118. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with funeral to follow at 12:00 pm. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 713 South Mendenhall, Memphis, TN 38117.
