Ruby Louise Tippett Maness, 82, of Memphis, TN went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 23, 2020, at 9:30 pm. She was at her home in Memphis with her family. Mrs. Maness was preceded in death by her sweetheart husband of 65 years, Burton Maness; parents, James William Tippett and Ada Annalee Garrison Tippett; brothers: Ervin Tippett, Clyde Tippett, Travis Tippett, and Murphy Tippett; and sisters: Pauline Waldrop, Irene McNair, and Marvenell Barnett. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Roger Maness (Debbie); daughter, Donna Hayse (Ronnie); grandchildren: Jason Maness (Kelly), Anna Rivera (Kelvin), Rachel Gonsalves (Sandeep), Joshua Maness, Dorothy Maness, and Tyler Hunt (Jess); and great-grandchildren: Diana Maness, Ava Maness, Dominic Gonsalves; and Cambric Gonsalves is on the way. Mrs. Maness married her loving husband on February 2, 1954. She spent her life as a homemaker dedicated to her family as a great wife, mother, and Maw Maw. She was a hard worker and a great provider for her family. She was always willing to help people in any way she could. She loved God with her whole heart and spent a lot of time in prayer and reading her Bible. She was also a longtime faithful member of Grey Road Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Friday, May 29, 2020, from 5-7 pm. The family will have a funeral service Saturday, May 30 2020 at 2:00 pm.
