Lucian Earl Chipman, 85, passed away on October 18, 2019, in Indianapolis, IN.  Mr. Chipman had served his country honorably in the United States Army and was retired from being a supervisor at ANR Trucking Company.  Mr. Chipman had worked hard and earned his Bachelor's degree from UT Martin.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty J. Chipman.  Left to honor and cherish his memory are his sons, Randy A Chipman (Patti) of Southaven, MS, Jeffrey S Chipman (Beth) of Greenwood, IN and Barry B Chipman (Jill) of Indianapolis, IN. Mr. Chipman has been blessed with six grandchildren, who he was very proud of, Jessica, Bradley, Brock, Billie, Tara, and Chance, and five great-grandchildren. He enjoyed gardening, playing pool and croquet and being with his family.  Visitation with his family will be on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, from 1:00~2:00 pm with his funeral service following at 2:00 pm at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East 901-382-1000
