Obituary

Lucille Virginia Gann Baser, 93 , Memphis, Tennessee, passed away March 10, 2022 at Methodist University Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee. Lucille was born in Round Pond, St. Francis County, Arkansas on January 2, 1929 to Alfred Greeley Gann and Bertha Wiggs Gann.

Lucille is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Milton Ray Baser, Sr., one daughter, Doriss Elaine Stokes Renigar, two brothers, Alfred Burleson Gann, Alfred Greeley Gann, Jr. one sister, Mary Frances Gann Dearing.

Lucille is survived by two sisters, Doris Gann Busby (Cecil) , Tipton, TN and Mary Helen Gann Fisher, Heber Springs, AR. She is survived by three daughters Darlene Stokes Hanes of Cordova, TN, Mardi Capps Kinney (Rick) of Marion, AR , Martha Ann Baser of West Memphis, AR, and one son, Milton Ray Baser, Jr. (Beverly) of Hernando, MS. Lucille is survived by her grandchildren, Lloyd Anthony Renigar, Forrest City, AR., Patricia Kathleen (Kathy) Renigar Thomas (Lowell) , Wynne, AR, Laurie Allyson Coley, Cordova, TN, Jennifer Nicole (Nikki) Kinney, Marion, Arkansas, Skyla Gabrielle Smith, West Memphis, AR., Kaitlin Rose Smith, West Memphis, AR, and Logan Pierce Baser, Hernando, MS. Lucille is also survived by great-grandchildren, Lindsay Nicole Renigar Hughes, (Adam) Forrest City, AR, Aaron Tyler Renigar (Jodi), Forrest City, A R , Andrea Kathleen Thomas, Wynne, AR., and Baron Wilder Lozier, West Memphis, AR. Lucille is also survived by six (6) great-great grandchildren.

Lucille was a devout Christian that enjoyed many services in this very chapel. Lucille was very artistic and enjoyed painting, sew ing, wood-working, doll making, and gardening. Lucille especially loved spoiling her grandchildren. As an excellent cook, she always welcomed everyone with open arms. She made sure holidays were extra special.

Lucille played the guitar and banjo. She really enjoyed making music with her brothers, sisters and her Brother-in-law Cecil Busby.

A Memorial Service is scheduled Saturday, March 26, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at the Bond Street Church of God, 311 West Bond Avenue, West Memphis, AR 72301.
