Lucille Lane, 90, was welcomed into eternity by her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. There were no limits to her love for her family, nieces, nephews, friends and most importantly her savior, Jesus Christ. Mrs. Lane was preceded in death by Lee Lane, her husband. She leaves behind her son, Danny Lane (Jane) and daughter, Becky Smith and devoted son in law John; three grandsons: Shannon Lane, Shea Lane (Sara) and Nicholas LaDart (Sarah); three great-grandchildren: Brody Lane, Sloan and Ellie LaDart and one brother, Gene Carter (Betty). Lucille was a member of Longcrest Baptist Church for 54 years and Gracepoint Baptist Church 11 years. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials are sent to: Longcrest Baptist Church, 1305 Longcrest Rd. Memphis, TN 38109 or Gracepoint Baptist Church, 8801 Walnut Grove Road, Cordova, TN 38018 or the charity of your choice. Visitation will be Friday, December 16 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Forest Hill South with service immediately following. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
