Lucy Elizabeth (Blankenship) Leslie, age 101, of Southaven, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025.

Lucy was born on December 27, 1923, in Monette, Arkansas, to Mirt and Ann Blankenship, the sixth of nine children. She attended Monette High School and went on to dedicate her life to her family as a loving homemaker. Lucy was deeply devoted to her husband, Roy, and together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and strong family values.

Lucy will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her sense of humor, and a quick wit that stayed with her throughout her life. She had a servant's heart--always there to help a family member or friend in need.  She had a remarkable ability to make others smile and feel welcome, and her presence brought warmth to every gathering.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Roy; her daughter-in-law, Susan; and her eight siblings.

Lucy is survived by her children, Jim Leslie, Sr. (Elizabeth), Bobby Leslie, and Steven Leslie (Laurie); her grandchildren, Jim Leslie, Jr. (Audie), Kerry Moore (Jeff), Scott Leslie, Lindsay Wright (Tyler), and Lauren Davis (Jon Michael); and her great-grandchildren, Dale Moore, Megan Ellis, Emma Leslie, Erin Moore, and Brooklyn Davis.

Memorial services will be held at Brookside Baptist Church, 4993 MS-302 East, Olive Branch, Mississippi, on Saturday, December 20, 2025 with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. and the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park South, 2545 E. Holmes Road, Memphis, Tennessee.
