Lura Janice "Nana" Ammons, 86, of Memphis, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on February 5, 2018.  She was born on October 21, 1931 in Martin, Tennessee to the late Jay and Rebekah Jones.  She was a faithful member of Central Church, worked at Sears and First Evangelical Church

She is preceded in death by husband, Robert Ammons, Jr.  Janice is survived by daughter, Teresa Hagel and son, Steve Ammons (Debbie), three grandchildren: Jeremy Ammons (Julie), Keri Jenkins and Melanie Ammons, four great-grandchildren: Courtney Jenkins, Madi Ammons, Reed Ammons and Carter Jenkins.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 until service time at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home-East with interment at Forest Hill Memorial Garden-East.
