Luther "Leroy" Lasiter, 81, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022 in Batesville, Mississippi. He was born September 10, 1940 to Ira and Molly Leona Lasiter in Marked Tree, Arkansas. He was a retired sales representative for Frito Lay. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Batesville. Leroy enjoyed NASCAR racing.

Leroy was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Lasiter of 40 years, a daughter, Iris Bryant; his parents; and three brothers, Burl, Bobby, and Raymond.

Survivors include two daughters, Angela Lasiter of Victoria, Texas, and Mary Beth Garner of Batesville, Mississippi; two sons Lee Lasiter of Victoria, Texas, and Ernie Parker of Southaven, Mississippi; ten grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 18, 2022 at Forest Hill Memorial Park, Midtown. Family visitation will be from 9:00–10:00 a.m. with the service following at 10:00.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
