Luzelle Fox Bartram Stuck, 88 of Brighton, TN, a devoted matriarch, nurse, musician, and faithful servant, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday morning, January 12, 2025. An incomparable example of faith, love, and kindness, Mama Lu touched countless lives through her dedication to her family, community, church, and profession.  Her nearly fifty years of service as a nurse, after graduating from St. Joseph School of Nursing in Memphis, TN, was a testament to her caring nature and commitment to helping others. A pianist from the age of 4, her love of music created memories that will be forever treasured. Faith was a cornerstone of her life and she lived out her convictions with kindness, generosity, and humility. Her love for Jesus was evident, and she continues to be an inspiration in faith.

She was born December 24, 1936 in Calhoun City, Mississippi, the first child of Thomas and Clara Fox.  She was a sister to Dan, David, and Brenda (Parks); mother to Greg (Leigh), Jeff, and John (Jamie), Mama Lu to Jessica, Jennifer, Jeffrey Jr., James Paul, Thomas Derrick, Lauren and Austin, great grandmother to Jenelle, Bethany, Noah, Samuel, Isaac, Alice, Thomas, Sophia, Meredith, and Colynns, and was cousin, aunt, and friend to many.  She is preceded in death by her mother and father, husband Gene Bartram, brother Dan, son Jeff, and former husband Jim Stuck.

Services will take place Friday, January 31 at Beaver Baptist Church 9344 Holly Grove Road Brighton, TN. Visitation begins at 12 pm, and services at 1pm. Interment to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Midtown. Flowers will be received at the church, please make any donations to the charity of your choice.
