Lyle Armstrong, Jr., 87, of Memphis, TN, went to be with his Lord, Monday, April 9, 2012. He was a WW II Army veteran and served on the Board of Directors for the Calvary Rescue Mission. Mr. Armstrong was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth, and his son, Rodger. He is survived by his daughters, Carole Phillips and Beverly Jane Norman; and three grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the Calvary Rescue Mission. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 12, in the Forest Hill East Mausoleum.
