Mabel B. Henry, 95, went to be with the Lord on May 14, 2018, in Baptist DeSoto Hospital after a long illness.  She was a resident of Horn Lake, Ms, and previously lived in Memphis, TN.  She was born on December 29, 1922, in New Albany, MS to the late Alonzo and Dora Bost.  She was a self-employed beautician, and was a member of Goodman Road Baptist Church.  She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Joan Gatlin, and Vicki Looney; five grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, Roy Henry; and two sisters, Myrtis Marlow and Frances Brown.  Visitation for Mrs. Henry will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 16, 2018.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 Thursday, May 17, 2018 with interment to follow.  All services are entrusted to the care of Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, East, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN, 38133.  The family requests that those wishing to honor the memory of Mrs. Henry to make at donation in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org)
