Mable Louise Allen was born July 19, 1930, in Enville, TN. She passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024, at the age of 93 at her home, due to a long illness, surrounded by her children. She is preceded in death by her husband Marine Corp Master Sargent Victor H. Allen, her parents Vera and Thomas Harwell, her sister and brother-in-law Marene and Vernon McCombs, her brother and sister-in-law Faye and Agnes Harwell, and her brother Murrell Harwell, and her son in law Dennis Ramsey and James Petrovice. She is survived by her children Vickie Petrovice (James), Bruce Allen, Patricia Ramsey (Dennis) and her grandsons Cory Ramsey (Ali) and Alex Ramsey (Brittany), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mable loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was the only active charter member attending St. Timothy United Methodist Church at the time of its closing. She always looked forward to her monthly lunches with her friends of the UMW at the Piccadilly. She loved square dancing with dad, playing board and card games, camping, fishing, sewing, working in the yard especially with her flower beds and gardens, and loved to watch her soap operas. Most of all, she loved spending time with family. She was a retiree from JC Penny at the Raleigh Springs Mall.

During her 93 years, she was fortunate to live in Hawaii and travel to various destinations such as Ireland, Australia/New Zealand, Nova Scotia, Mexico, and The Bahamas. She also traveled to all 50 states, and she has shot glasses to prove it!
