Mable Ruth Proctor McCrory, 90, of Gulfport, MS (formerly of Memphis, TN), beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on June 12, 2016 after a brief illness. She was a graduate of Treadwell High School and was a long-time realtor in Memphis. Before moving from Memphis, she was an active member of Cherry Road Baptist Church and the Memphis Women''s Council. She is survived by two children, Michael McCrory (Vee) of Little Rock, Sandra Keown (Tommy) of Gulfport, and her daughter-in-law Charlotte McCrory of Calhoun City. She is survived by grandchildren Scott McCrory (Cynthia), Carla McCrory Crews (Dan), Leslie McCrory Haire, Katherine Kewon Marks (Dan), and Mary-Wallace Keown Atchley (Blake). She is also survived by great-grandchildren Hayden McCrory, Owen McCrory, Michael Crews, Caleb Haire, Cohen Haire, Cylee Haire, Sam Marks, and Elizabeth Grace Marks. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Roy Earl ["Chief" or Big Pete] McCrory, Sr., and her cherished son Roy Earl [Pete] McCrory, Jr., and her brother Herman Smythe Proctor. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. and a celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East on Whitten Road in Memphis on Friday, June 17, 2016.
