Mack Douglas "Doug" Jones, 74, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2017. He was preceded in death by parents, John "Ed" and Ruby Cozart. He is survived by his wife, Dianne, of 55 years; five siblings, James, Johnny, Tina, Jerry and David; four sons, Mike (Judy), Bobby, Chris (Trudy) and Steve (Kim); five grandchildren, Brittany, Clint, Kyle, Bailey and Hanna; three great-grandchildren, Kristopher, Knox and Cooper. He graduated from Fayette County High School in 1960. After retiring from the beverage industry for 35 years, he retired as the fleet manager from D.Canale and Company. Doug never met a stranger and loved the outdoors. His uplifting personality, kindness to others and helpful spirit will be missed by his family and the many friends he made throughout his lifetime. A celebration of Doug''s life will be on March 3, 2017 at Forest Hill Funeral Home East with visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. and services at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital or Baptist Reynolds Hospice House and Kemmons Wilson Center for Good Grief.
