Mae Carolyn "Doll Baby" McCain Seward, 72, of Memphis passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015 at Methodist South Hospital. Ms. Seward worked for the Shelby County Sheriff''s Department as a Deputy Jailer. She was born to the late Ola and Georgia Mae Alexander McCain on August 11, 1942 in Memphis. She leaves her two children: Stephen Seward, Sr. and Angela Boyd; two sisters: Maxine McCain Lowe and Patricia McCain Johnson; 4 grandchildren: Frankie Boyd, Jr., Chelsea Boyd, Stephen D. Seward, II, Siera Seward; 3 great-grandchildren: Tatiyana M. Clark, Ramairah T. Smith, and Skyla E. Seward; 2 nieces: Racquel Nelson, Michelle Brown; 4 nephews: Larry Anthony, Kevin Lowe, Mark Lowe and Peter Lowe and other beloved family and friends. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 29, with service following at 2 p.m. all at Forest Hill South Funeral Home on East Holmes Road.
