Mamie Louise Slingerland of Memphis, TN was born in Grand Junction, TN on July 31, 1930 to Wesley and Ruby Finger who preceded her in death. She passed away on December 7, 2016 at the age of 86 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Slingerland; two brothers, and two sisters. She leaves behind her children; Sandra Joyce Wilson, Carl David Slingerland and Anita Wellman; five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from 12-2 pm, with funeral services to immediately follow at 2:00 PM, all at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park East, 2440 Whitten Rd., Memphis, TN 38133.
