Mamie Marie Reed, of Bartlett, TN was born June 27, 1928 and passed away on Dec. 12, 2015 at the age of 87. Mamie was a member of the East Side Baptist Church of Bartlett. She trusted Christ at age 21, and from that time her primary goal was to bring her family and others to Christ. She is survived by her loving husband of over 69 years, Usher Edward Reed; one daughter, Freida Lansing (Kenneth); three sons, Freck Reed (Terry), Randy Reed and (Susanne) and Rudy Reed (Jeanette); one brother, Charles Williams (Nancy); 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home, 2440 Whitten Rd, on Tuesday, Dec. 15 from 5-7 PM. Funeral Services will be held at the East Side Baptist Church, 3232 Covington Pike, on Wed., Dec. 16 beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Forest Hill East Cemetery.
