Marcia Lunn Madry, 81, of Memphis passed away on November 16, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital East, surrounded by all three of her surviving children, her niece Martha Baldwin, and two of her grandchildren. Marcia graduated from Central High School and attended Albion College in Albion, Michigan. She is preceded in death by her parents Dorothy Greene Hames and Weldon Thomas Hames of Memphis, her husband Gerald Edmund Lunn (Jerry) of Memphis, her sister Nancy Hames Camferdam and brother-in-law Clarence (Bud) Camferdam of Little Rock, Arkansas and her son Richard Thomas Lunn of Memphis. She is survived by her son Gerald Edmund Lunn, Jr. (Sandra) of Beverly Hills, California, her son John Hubbard Lunn and her daughter Sallie Lunn Tarver (Kirk) all of Memphis, grandchildren Eric Weldon Lunn and Gerald Edmund Lunn, III of Beverly Hills, California, Heather Lunn Catanese (Anthony) of Cleveland, Ohio, Dory Lunn of Mize, Mississippi, Alexis, Spencer, Peyton, and Joshua Tarver of Memphis, Richard Thomas Lunn, Jr. of Jackson, Tennessee, and 2 great-grandchildren (Gianni and Luca Catanese). Marcia was a beautiful person who lived a magnificent life. Marcia had a joyful childhood and formed many friendships that lasted for life. As a wife and mother, she was wise, supportive and fun. Her love for life was contagious, and will endure in the hearts of her family and friends. She loved spending time with her family and friends, shopping for clothes and books, playing bridge, sipping gin and tonic, and watching Wheel of Fortune. Marcia was an avid reader with wide-ranging interests and a life-long love of learning and travel. Marcia was a member of Josephine Circle and L-Allegro Circle Kings Daughters. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 18, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. and the funeral will be held on Tuesday November 19, 2013 at 10 a.m., both at Forest Hill Funeral Home East at 2440 Whitten Road.
