Obituary

Margaret Barkley Curbow Hawkins of Lake Cormorant, Ms. died on Jan. 2, 2020 at Great Oaks Rehab in Byhalia, Ms. at the age of 83.

Mrs. Hawkins was born on April 29, 1936 in Union County, Mississippi to Troy J. and Lorene Lewellen Barkley.  She was a retired bookkeeper from Air Compressor Sales and Services,and a member of Eudora Presbyterian Church where she played the piano and was an Elder.

Services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11 th at Eudora Presbyterian Church 1836 Hwy. 301 Lake Cormorant, Ms., with burial in Forrest Hill South, Memphis, Tn. Visitation from 12:30 to 2 p.m.

Mrs. Hawkins was preceded in death by her parents Troy J. andLorene Lewellen Barkley.  Her first husband George F. Curbow,her 2 nd husband William T. Hawkins, her brother Thomas W. Barkley, a sister Pamela Dianne Barkley.  Two daughters AmeliaCurbow, Teresa Curbow Osteen, and a step daughter Vickey Hawkins Icenberger.

Survivors include her two sons John F. Curbow and wife Kathyof Horn Lake, Garry W. Curbow of New Albany, her daughter Ruthie Curbow of Columbia, TN and step daughter Cheryl and Dennis Hillard of Southaven, four sisters and brother in laws Tootsie and Vance Witt of New Albany, Willie Ann Bryant of Ripley, Kay and Ralph Clayton of Potts Camp, Linda and Donald Dodd of New Albany, and a sister-in-law Lynda Barkleyof Gulf Breeze, FL., 12 grandchildren Josh, Kristy, Kerrie, Will, Toyrea, Amanda, Jason, PJ, Sommer, Heather, Joey, Brandon, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers you can donate to Eudora Presbyterian Church or Parkinson Foundation.
