Margaret J. Fitzgibbon, 93, of Memphis, TN died Thursday, July 4, 2013. She was retired from W.T. Grant and Goldsmith''s and was a member of Leawood Baptist Church. Mrs. Fitzgibbon was born on November 23, 1919 in Sardis, MS. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Noel Fitzgibbon and is survived by her sons, James Fitzgibbon of Bartlett, TN and David Fitzgibbon (Deborah) of Atlanta, GA; brother, James Ferrell of Memphis, TN; grandchildren, Jenifer Proctor, Leslie Roberson, James Fitzgibbon, John Fitzgibbon; eight great grandchildren and niece, Debbie Archer and nephew James Michael Ferrell. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M., Monday, July 8, 2013 at Leawood Baptist Church on Macon. Services will be at 10 A.M., Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at the church with interment to follow in Forest Hill Midtown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that any memorials be sent to Leawood Baptist Church on Macon Rd.
