Margaret Hudgins of Byhalia, Mississippi was born September 9, 1931, to the late Clayton
Townsend and Thelma Pierce Townsend in Neshoba County, Mississippi.

Margaret made a career with and retired from the U. S. Postal Service. She
had many hobbies and interests including Beta Sigma Phi sorority and was a dedicated member of The Eastern Star. She was also a member of First Baptist Church of Byhalia, MS.

Margaret loved her family, and she leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Linda Mattox;
granddaughter, Annette Lode; grandson-in-love, Jeff Lode; great-granddaughters, Shannon
Coley, Amber Lewis, Casey Morrison, and Breonna Lewis; 8 great-great-grandchildren, brother,
Marlyn Townsend; and sister, Jo Ella Skipper.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Judy Townsend, brother Maurice Townsend, and 2 grandsons.
