Margaret (Peggy) L. Irwin, 92, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Kingston Residence of Hickory, NC.  Prior to that, she had lived in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas  and in Memphis, TN.

Mrs. Irwin was born September 6, 1925 in Lakewood, OH to the late William I. Lacy and Grace Lacy. She was a member of First United Methodist in Fairfield Bay, AR.  Prior to that she had been a long time member at Grace United Methodist Church in Memphis, TN.  She was previously employed with the Memphis Shelby County Health Department.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, John A. Irwin.  Survivors include her four children, Lucinda I. Tibbs of Hickory, NC; William L. Irwin of Colleyville, TX; J. Jeffrey Irwin of Memphis, TN; Thomas H. Irwin of St. Paul, Minnesota and their spouses, as well as eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 21 at Forest Hill South, 2545 E. Holmes Rd., Memphis, TN 38118. A graveside service will immediately follow.
