Margaret Genia McCann, 80, born May 20, 1942 passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022 in Southaven, MS. She leaves behind two daughters, DeDe Cook (Kenny), Machelle Warburton (Dan); one sister, Imogene Naylor (Frank); four brothers, Danny Bishop (Peggy), Ray Bishop (Ramona), Jerry Bishop, Dennis Bishop (Brenda); and seven grandchildren, Abigail, Ella, Luke, and Genevieve Warburton, Deanna Brown (Graham), Hayden Cook (Olivia) and Harrison Cook. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert McCann; her parents, D.R. Bishop and Zula Mae Bishop; two sisters, Gloria May (James), Ann Newman; and two brothers, Larry Bishop and Gerald Bishop (Evelyn).

Genia was a longtime member of Church Road Baptist Church in Nesbit, MS. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, gardening and tending to her flowers, crocheting blankets for her children and grandchildren and being a caregiver for several children and for the elderly. She had a big heart and touched so many lives and will be missed greatly.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 1:00-2:00p.m. with funeral services starting at 2:00p.m. at Forest Hill East Mausoleum. Burial will follow at Forest Hill South Cemetery.
