Obituary for:
Margaret Dawson Sharpe
July 17, 1929 – February 24, 2018
Margaret Dawson Sharpe died peacefully at St. Frances Hospital February 24, 2018, where she had been since suffering a stroke on February 10.
She was preceded in death by: Husband Ezra O. Sharpe of Memphis TN, Son James Carlton Sharpe of Memphis TN, and Sister Dorothy Parker of Wynne, AR.
She is survived by Sons: Steve Sharpe of Memphis, TN, Cary Sharpe (wife Angie) of Millersville, MD. Sister: Geneva Wilbanks of Flint, MI. Grand-daughters: April Eslick (husband Cory) of Glen Burnie, MD. Sarah Puhl (husband Kyle) of Frisco, TX. and Rebekah Wilson (husband Patrick) of Millersville, MD. She also has one Great Grandson, Ethan Asher Wilson, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Margaret was a faithful member of the Oak Forest Church of God in Southaven, MS since the early 1950's. She played the piano and sang in the choir at her beloved church for many years. Though unable to attend for the last few years, she loved her church and considered the people there her dear friends.
Her grandchildren loved her laughter and her stories. They suggested that she has probably already found Grandpa and a piano in heaven, and is most likely giggling while playing and singing "Amazing Grace".
Margaret, Grandma, Aunt, Sis, Mom… you will be missed here on earth but we are so glad you have found your ultimate healing and reward through your relationship with Jesus Christ! We love you and will always have wonderful memories!
