Margaret Marie Simpson, 85, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Baptist Hospital. She was the daughter of Amos and Mae Riley and was born in Pocahontas, AR on July 29, 1927. Mrs. Simpson was married to John B. Simpson for 49 years who preceded her in death when she was 64 years old. She was preceded by eight siblings. Mrs. Simpson is survived by four daughters, Wanda Brown of Dallas, TX, Carolyn Ware (Sam) of Coldwater, MS, Mary Rancourt of Warwick, RI and Penny Rosenberg of Memphis, TN; two brothers; eight grand-children, ten great-grand-children and three great-great-grandchildren and a special sister-in-law, Mildred Sneed (Aldan) of Moscow, TN. She was a Christian lady and worshipped at the Collierville Church of Christ for many years and more recently at the Park Avenue Church of Christ until her health failed. Mrs. Simpson was loved by her family and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be 1:30-2:30 p.m., with services to follow at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, September 9 at Forest Hill Funeral Home East with interment to follow.
