Margarito Martinez "Manny" was born in Mexico in 1931, he was the son of Presiliano Martinez and Macedonia Moreno and was one of four siblings. Margarito relocated to Los Angeles, CA years later where he served time in the United States Army and worked for Alcoa for 35 years where he eventually retired and met his wife Betty. The two eventually married in 1990. Margarito was a fan of baseball and played in senior leagues in Long Beach, CA and also in Memphis. Working in the yard and building were also some of the things he enjoyed doing. On September 4, 2020, Margarito lost his fight on Earth, but gained his eternal wings. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Betty (proceeded him in death), his three step children, son, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister, nephews, nieces, brothers, and friends.
