Margie Nell Little passed away at the age of 83 on September 13, 2023. She was born in Atwood, Tennessee and after graduating from Peabody High School she moved to Memphis and married Mark Buford Little in 1960. During the marriage, they raised two sons, Mark and Brian. She had a long career as a hostess in the ICU at Methodist Hospital and was a member of Central Church. In addition to her sons, Margie leaves behind one sister-in-law and dear friend, Carolyn Martin, along with two daughters-in-law, Monica and Deanna, and three grandsons: Taylor Little, Aaron Little (Paige), and Luke Little (Christina). Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Aron and Cecil Morris and her husband of 59 years, Mark Buford Little.
Margie loved spending time with her family and friends, most often over a meal at a favorite restaurant. She always had a freezer full of ice cream to offer visitors to her home. She and Buford had many adventures traveling to places like Alaska, Hawaii, Gatlinburg, TN, and Bermuda. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Margie will be buried at Forest Hill Cemetery in Memphis, Tennessee after a small graveside memorial service for family and close friends.
