MARIANNE Y. GORDON of Hernando MS died Friday, Sept 9, 2022, at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital.

She was ­­­92 years old. Ms. Gordon was born April 7, 1930, in Memphis, Tennessee and was a 1947 graduate of Central High School in Memphis. She was a secretary/bookkeeper, retired from 20th Century Fox Film Corp. in Memphis, Hernando High School, and Parkway Baptist Church in Hernando. She was a charter member of Women of the Motion Picture Industry (WOMPI). Marianne was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Minta Yarbrough, her husband of 41 years, Jack Kelley Gordon, brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Margaret Yarbrough of Huntsville, Alabama, brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Wanda Yarbrough of Sharpsburg, Georgia, brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Sandra Yarbrough of Owings Mills, Maryland, and sister and brother-in-law, June and Ralph Moore of Winter Springs, Florida.  She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Teague of Memphis, Tennessee, and Sheri Rieger of Brentwood, Tennessee, a stepdaughter, Diana Rae Bell (Milton) of Hernando, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and six nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at 12:00 noon on Thursday, September 22, at Parkway Baptist Church in Hernando, with service to be held at the Church from 1 - 2pm. Interment will be at Forest Hill Funeral Home South, Memphis, Tennessee.
