Obituary

Marianne Kinsey, long time resident of Memphis and wife of Charles William Kinsey, met her Lord and Savior around 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday June 13, 2017. She was surrounded by her family upon her death and passed peacefully to the arms of Jesus.

Marianne moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 2005 to be closer to her family and died in her home under Hospice care.

Marianne served as librarian of Bartlett High School and retired in 1985. She was an active member of her church at Willow Park Baptist and supported many faith ministries including Child Evangelism Fellowship of Memphis. In 2006, the curriculum lab at Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee was dedicated in her honor.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Bill Kinsey, and her son William Kinsey of Florida. She is survived by her children, Charlotte McClanahan of Memphis, David Kinsey of Atlanta, Georgia, and Kathy Davis of Nashville, Tennessee. She says, "goodbye" to five grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
