Marie Blake Chastain, 91, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022 at her home with her family by her side. She leaves behind one daughter, Linda Garrett (John); two sons, Steve Chastain (Mary), David Chastain (Debbie); one sister, Irene Tucker; nine grandchildren, Jay Garrett, Jeff Garrett, Kim Richie, Joey Turner (Dilon), Nicholas Chastain (Kiana), Jeremy Chastain (Michelle), Courtney Chastain, Mindy Singleton, Blake Chastain, seventeen great grandchildren; and eight great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Issac and Maggie Blake; her husband, Homer Joseph Chastain; and one son, Joe Chastain.

Marie was a devout Christian woman who loved the lord dearly. In her free time she enjoyed having a cup of coffee, watching birds, admiring flowers and of course her favorite gum, Freedent.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 11, 2022 from 1:00p.m.-2:00p.m. with funeral services starting at 2:00p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home 2440 Whitten Rd., Memphis, TN 38133. Burial will follow on property at Forest Hill East Cemetery.
