Marie B. Flanagan, 86, longtime resident of Memphis, passed away on March 24, 2014 in Heber Springs, AR. She was born in Memphis on December 11, 1927 to the late James and Ethel McPherson. Mrs. Flanagan is survived by her son, Richard (Sandy) Sutton; daughter, Sandra Elizabeth Sutton; three step-daughters, Marilyn Rosales, Lois Matlock, Judy Bishop; sister-in-law, Kris McPherson; three grandchildren, Dawn Duvall, Aric Sutton, Alexia Sutton; seven step-grandchildren, Jeffrey Matlock, William Matlock, Kadie Burr, Kim Flanagan, Eric Elizalde, Jason Elizalde, Angie Arend; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Flanagan; sons, James V. Davis, Robert C. Davis; two brothers, James McPherson, Jr., Raymond McPherson; and three sisters, Evelyn Saigeon, Jean Fuller, and Geraldine Park. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service begins at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 27 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with interment following.
