Olive Branch, MS - Marie N. Smith, 89, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at her home. Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 12th at Forest Hill South with visitation from 12 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery. Mrs. Smith was a member of Cedar View Baptist Church for over 35 years and retired from Sherwin Williams. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Smith. She leaves her daughter, Marie Diane Short, 3 sons: Darrel, Donald and Melvin Smith, 7 grandchildren: Wayne, Glenn and Jenny Smith, Joey Cannon, Danny and David Short and Angie Burkhardt, also 9 great- grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
