Olive Branch, MS - Marilyn Joyce Hicks, 77, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Desoto. Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 30 at Forest Hill South with visitation from 12 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery. Mrs. Hicks worked as a hostess and waitress for Coletta''s Restaurant for over 40 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Leslie Calvin Hicks; parents, Adam Thomas and Margaret Reeves Overton; and brother, Phillip Overton. She leaves three sons: Michael L. Hoffman (Cathy Sanford) of Orinda, CA, Darrell P. Hoffman (Peggy) of Bartlett, TN and Gary A. Hoffman of Horn Lake, MS; one sister, Carolyn Pickle of Horn Lake, 6 grandchildren: James M. Hoffman, David P. Hoffman, Marcus A. Sanford, Kimberly Saneford, Allison Bouchillon and Jeffery Saneford; also 4 great-grandchildren.
