Obituary

Marilyn M Russom, 92, of Cordova TN, passed away on 4-21-26, surrounded by her daughters.

Born on 10-12-1933 in Tyronza,AR, Marilyn was the beloved daughter of Luther and Lottie Watson. She grew up in Selmer,TN and went on to graduate from Selmer High School. She dedicated her life to family and friends , leaving a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Marilyn is survived by her children Deborah Freeman (Pete), David Russom and Sandy Russom. Grandchildren Michael Cook (Sonia) Marsha Snider ( Bruce) and great grandchildren Bruce and Madeline Snider. Sister’s Shirley Russom (Jarvis) Myrtle Tacker,Joann Plunk and many nieces and nephews. Marilyn was preceded in death by husband Floyd M Russom, father and mother Luther and Lottie Watson, Sisters Frances Lancaster, Jessie Jenkins and Beverly Mullins.

A funeral service will be held on 4-27-26 at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East at 2P.M. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2 P.M., burial to follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, East.

 In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to East Side Baptist Church 7981 US HWY 70 , Bartlett Tn 38133, in honor of Marilyn Russom’s life and legacy.

Marilyn will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.
