Marilyn Marie Townsend, 67, of Southaven, MS passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021. Mrs. Townsend was a member of Southaven First United Church. She retired from the US Postal Service.

Marilyn was preceded in death by parents, Jimmie and Oma Walters, also a sister, Janie Joyner. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Robert Townsend and daughter, Lisa Marie Hanson also of Southaven, MS; one sister,  Wanda Ross (Carlon) of Strayhorn, MS; one brother, Jimmie Walters (Karen) of Abbeville, MS, also two grandchildren, Avery and Livvy Hanson of Southaven.

The family requests that any memorials are sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
